On the other hand, if it is a larger conference with a decent level of production and though put into it, I'd be far more likey to EQ the system properly with the grapheq then ring our the mics using whatever kit I have, eg the channel strip eq, an auxiliary for mic types, ie all laveliers in one, lect in another. ![]() In those cases I treat the mic as the more important part so I'd use the graph eq to get the best gain I can and just accept that the music/video will sound shonky as theres not much I can do about it. So many conferences I do now are just long winded powerpoint speaches, and if there is any video or audio its usually youtube low quality or mobile phone downloaded trash. ![]()
